Client: Portakabin

Working for Portakabin, we were approached by their Exteriors division to clad this one off modular building in beautiful Siberian Larch after their client requested timber instead of vinyl wrap.

We battened out the walls ready to fix the new vertical cladding which has a life expectancy of 60 years.  A large bulkhead was formed to create a downward shadow onto the building and the legs were boxed in to create a column effect.

The timber was left untreated and after 4-5 years the cladding will weather to a silver colour to make the building looked aged which is what the client wanted to achieve.
