Client: Portakabin
When the River Derwent burst its banks in 2009 causing major flooding, we were appointed by Portakabin to undertake works for a new emergency hospital which took three weeks to construct and commission.
The project involved careful planning and commitment to ensure the hospital could be constructed in the short timescale given to minimise disruption to the patients.
All necessary drainage, foundations, tarmac, a temporary car park, as well as access ramps and steps were constructed.
