As main contractor, we were appointed to refurbish this complex listed facility to improve its environment after Sue Ryder Care received a grant from the Department of Health.

We were responsible for carefully planning and phasing the work to ensure minimal disruption to patients and staff whilst the hospice remained open.

The conversation of sixteen bedrooms with en-suite facilities is one of the few hospices in the country to have these as single rooms with specialist beds and privacy curtains.

The project also involved re-modelling the kitchen, library, and lounge with the introduction of a new therapy suite, reception, day care unit and treatment rooms.
