Client: Portakabin
Working for Portakabin, we were approached by their Estates division to upgrade their existing offices and yard at Bradford Hire Centre.
All existing services were disconnected and drainage capped off ready for the existing modular offices to be craned out. All existing foundation pads were dug out following their removal.
A new boundary wall was constructed using Marshalls Cromwell pitch faced stone walling capped with stone copings and new powder coated black fencing fixed above.
The existing site entrance was widened using transition kerbs and new asphalt laid to form suitable levels for vehicles delivering modular buildings to the yard. A new high specification electronic sliding gate was also installed by Electrogate.
New foundation pads were laid for the new modular offices with all access ramps, steps and handrails installed. All existing drainage and services were altered to suit.
An existing storage shed with a maintenance pit was also demolished and infilled with stone. This enabled the final asphalt works to complete to the yard ready for Portakabin to begin using the facility again.
